Her powerfully large-scale pieces allow her to work in an extremely physical manner and she prefers to use decorating brushes to apply the paint to accentuate imperfection and texture, recreating an impression of the sky rather than an accurate portrayal.
While atmospheric skies and cloud formations are what she has become known for, more recently she is focusing on figurative work and pursues a self-proclaimed contrast between a sense of clarity and incompleteness.
